Bakugan is a popular anime series composed of fifty-one episodes. The story runs with the characters twelve year old Dan and his friends and of course the bakugan. The bakugan are creatures by which the story revolves. Thus when one day Dan was showered by random cards falling from the sky one day, he with his friends, was able to invent the game bakugan.

Though bakugan was originally an anime series the series has influenced Sega Toys and Spin Masters to create magnetic cards and miniature action toys for really children to enjoy the thrill of the bakugan game.

Though there is no stiff rule in bakugan certain things must be observed and followed for the game to be officially started. Like most battle and card games, the players need to put the cards in the arena lying face down and the youngest player goes first. But it is more than just a game of wars and winning but of strategies as well. Remember that your aim here is to get or eat the three cards of your opponent. Then this game requires a lot of strategies.

The “G Power” of the bakugan in the battle field is the main consideration. Will you put all the powerful bakugans all in one game or will you let the weaker ones go in first? Will your opponent use similar bakugan sets as you or will he or she use the weaker bakugan cards or those with lesser G Power? It takes a lot of concentration and analysis. Unlike most board games and card games the bakugan needs a lot of brain power because one wrong move means you will be dead meat anytime soon.

The bakugan like chess needs a lot of technique. As a good player you need to use the most important tool of all- the brain. You need to think. You need to analyze, to put the best card forward. You have to remember that like a true soldier the bakugan cards will be your saviors to save your camp from defeat. And like the game of chess, you have to save the strongest piece for last. Save the one with the biggest G Power for most if not all the time, it will save you from defeat. But this doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice the ones with lesser G Power just choose the best card, the one that will serve as your soldier in every battle.
